"been wanting to try this place since i moved to port huron last year finally had the time to do so today and im pretty mixed on my thoughts. the brisket was good a tad bit dry pork was good pulled chicken was ok son liked the ribs as well. my main complaints are my mashed potatoes were terrible they were like the bottom of the pan scraped burned completely not edible the potato salad was ok lil heavy on the dill son loved the mac and cheese. but the sweet potato fries were disgusting very heavily salted and ive never gotten sweet potato fries salted as a matter of fact ive never got fries from a restaurant salted at all. i dont use salt in my cooking for reasons i get restaurants use salt. but this was a bit extreme for salt on sweet potato fries. usually they come with sugar or cinnamon or mix but ive never gotten salted sweet potato fries. so all of my sides except the mac and cheese and corn bread are not edible. almost a waste of my money. Definitely not worth the 83$ to just eat the bit of meat. might give this place a second chance might not. im indecisive on that.i added a picture of the mashed potatoes because i mean come on it even looks disgusting"

"Haley was fantastic! Really made a "quick bite" into an experience. Food was delicious and we were quickly seated. Tried The Boss Man burger and it was just perfect. Blackened Steak Ceasar salad was bursting with some unique flavors."

"Excellent bbq. We got the whole slab of ribs, onion rings, mac and cheese, chicken, pulled pork and brisket. The ribs and brisket were the best. Very good table side bbq sauces. Corn bread is delicious and sweet. Quick service. Hot food. Scrumptious. Great sized portions. American food at its best. The chicken was dry but the waitress said its mostly tender. Sometimes at the end of the day, it's dry."

"This is by far the best bbq we've ever had.. and my family is from the south so we've had our fair share.. (With no exaggeration) My boyfriend and I stopped here last night last minute- we're not familiar with the area so we had to give it a try! The portion sizes are HUGE and the meats were fresh and so tender. We had the best server- Mackenzie. She was on top of everything and super wholesome/sweet! We also didn't realized they closed 30 minutes before we got there. This is a must if you're in the mood for great food, service, and a good time. Now idk what rub/ spice you put on the meats but WOW! The cornbread was cake-like, moist with amazing flavor and the honey butter that came with it was top tier.. props to the chef for this one and thank you! We need for people/ food places like this!"

"I had the Buffalo Tatter tots from their "Weekly special menu".... Absolutely phenomenal! I've had my fair share of items from their menu, and I'm really into spicy. If that's your forte, I would get the spicy Jalapeno Mac and cheese or check out the special menu to see what they have! Cornbread never disappoints with their Honey butter. And you can tell they take their time smoking their meats. Everything was great! And my server Haley was Awesome!"

"Hands down, the best BBQ on the Thumb Coast. We split the BBQ Platter with generous portions of pulled chicken, pulled pork, ribs and brisket with a side of beans and onion rings. EVERYTHING was great but we couldn't finish it all."
